Alexandra Helmert studied sociology, economics and higher education management at the universities of Marburg and Bielefeld as well as at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Diplom 2002, doctorate 2006, MBA 2012). After several years in management positions at leading German research institutions, she shaped the development of R&D structures at msg life in 2019, supported the agile transformation and drove forward the standardisation of processes. Since 2022, she has significantly shaped product-specific compliance management and has been AI Officer at msg life since 2025.

During the last decades, he and his team constantly generated product innovations that answer the needs of life insurance companies. Driven by the enormous potential of machine learning, he is now seeking for basic innovations to improve the efficiency of processes, services and quality. His vision is to make intelligent use of deep neural networks (DNNs) with the aim of strengthening life insurers’ capacity to manage their business in times of ultra-low interest rates and the guarantees associated with pension benefits.

Since January 2021, he has been working at msg life as a business consultant in the Product and Project Allowance Management department. Previously, he held various positions in the insurance industry and was active in the area of strategy and innovation at the R+V Insurance Group and in composite insurance at Allianz Deutschland AG.
MORE...Dr. Christian Weber studied technical mathematics at the university of technology TU Wien in Vienna (obtaining his degree in 1988 and his PhD in 1994). Following a postgraduate degree at the Institute for Advanced Studies, he became an assistant at the Institute for Statistics and Mathematics of the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 1990. He joined FJA AG, now msg life ag, in 1999. He works with mathematics for msg.Life Factory both in projects for customers and standard development. He has been in charge of coordinating the development of the calculation engine since 2012. He is also a visiting lecturer at TU Wien.

In this role, he is responsible for the strategic and operational expansion of sales, supporting existing customers, and acquiring new business partners—with the aim of further strengthening the company's sustainable growth course. With over 15 years of experience in the IT and insurance industries, Helmut Körfer brings with him in-depth expertise in a variety of areas: from property insurance and client & partner management to test data and quality management in complex system landscapes. His professional career has included leading positions at adesso insurance solutions GmbH and the SQS Group (now part of the Expleo Group), where he managed strategic projects for well-known insurance groups in the DACH region. His work always focuses on partnership-based dialogue with customers and a deep understanding of the challenges of digital transformation in the insurance industry. As a manager, he attaches great importance to team orientation, transparent communication, and long-term customer relationships.

MORE...Markus Pabst has been a Senior Account Manager in msg-life's sales department since 2017. After studying computer science and business administration in Dortmund, he began his career as a consultant and sales manager in a medium-sized software company with a customer focus on state authorities in the new federal states. After moving to T-Systems, he initially took on responsibility as a key account manager and sales manager for the insurance and banking sector in the West region, where he coordinated Telekom AG's strategic partnership with the ERGO insurance group. In addition to other professional positions as an interim manager at various software companies for the target markets of banking, insurance and healthcare, he worked as a key account manager for the insurance industry at Terradata and Software AG before msg life.

She studied business economics, worked as an online newspaper business editor for many years, and thus acquired great knowledge of both the business world and the financial world. Michaela Duhr gained international experience in financial market reporting and corporate reporting through her work in a correspondent office on New York’s Wall Street.
MORE...Dr Stefan Nörtemann holds a degree in mathematics and is a qualified actuary (DAV) as well as a Certified Actuarial Data Scientist (DAV). Following a career as a consultant in the field of occupational pensions, he has been with msg life (formerly FJA) since 2002, where he drives forward initiatives in the fields of AI and data science. In addition to his work at msg life, he is involved in various institutions as a lecturer on actuarial topics: he is head of the Actuarial Data Science (ADS) specialist group of the German Actuarial Association (DAV) and deputy chair of the DAV ADS committee. He also chairs the DAV working groups on ‘Qualification’, “AI Act” and “Fit4AI”. At the German Actuarial Academy (DAA), he is a lecturer in the specialist module “Actuarial Data Science” and in the foundation module “Data Science & AI”. He is also a university lecturer on the “Data Science” Master’s programme at Harz University of Applied Sciences (Wernigerode Campus).
