Our first sustainability report for msg life is an expression of the fact that we want to take our business activities seriously and make them transparent with a view to ensuring a fair society and operating in a climate-friendly manner. In the future, we want to implement further specific measures as part of our corporate social responsibility and draw up and further implement our long-term sustainability strategy.

Data protection and ISMS certification

For us as an IT company and service provider in a highly regulated market, information security and data protection play a key role.

 

msg life ag and msg nexinsure ag operate an information security management system (ISMS), which has been certified according to ISO/IEC 27001 in the key core processes since 2022.

 

The ISMS is accompanied by measures to ensure digital operational resilience. As a third-party ICT service provider for the insurance industry, we are indirectly subject to the strict requirements of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). We also strive for high quality standards in the area of data protection, driven forward by the commitment of the companies in the area of software as a service (SaaS) and artificial intelligence (AI).

Our employees are always of exceptional importance to us. Promoting prospects over the long term and treating them with appreciation is an extremely high priority for us. We are committed to good working and living conditions and provide training and support.

 

We want to actively promote an open corporate culture that promotes diversity and equal opportunities and actively prevents discrimination.

 

As a visible commitment to diversity, we therefore signed the Diversity Charter for msg life and msg nexinsure. The Diversity Charter is an initiative aimed at promoting recognition, appreciation and inclusion of diversity in the world of work.

Social aspects at msg life and msg nexinsure

Acting responsibly is an essential part of our corporate culture. We work closely with various associations, universities and schools to ensure a comprehensive exchange of expertise and the promotion of young talent. At the same time, we promote various sporting activities for a good cause.

 

Donations from msg life

When it comes to donations, we also live up to our corporate responsibility towards society. We therefore donate a relevant amount to social institutions every year.

 

In 2025, we donated EUR 17,500 each to two organisations: Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. for the sustainable improvement of living conditions by helping people to help themselves and Save the Children Deutschland e.V. for the well-being and protection of children in crisis. Other charitable foundations were also supported with smaller amounts.
